Marske

Marske Choir is a community choir for the local people of Marske and surrounding districts in Swaledale. It welcomes all-comers without audition. Highly recommended.

Marske and New Forest Parish Council website. The parish covers the area between the Swale and the watershed of Marske Beck, including New Forest, Helwith, Skelton, Clints, Marske, Feldom Ranges and West Applegarth.

Church of England parish covering St Mary’s Richmond, Marske, Hudswell and Downholme.

Rees, David Morgan. 2000. In the Palm of the Dale.  A portrait of farm and village life written by a regular visitor to the village. The book contains a large number of high quality and insightful photos of the village, and is a facinating record of the village in the 1980s and 1990s.
