The webmaster of this site and primary author is Stephen Clark (aka “Marske Badger”), a resident of Marske. Some of the pages have been written by others, and many pages benefit from conversations with people locally. Thanks to all who have contributed.

The aim is to record interesting things about Marske, Clints, Skelton, New Forest and surrounding areas. The intention is to expand the site slowly over time, and in response to any areas of interest that emerge. An editorial policy for this site is set out here. I am very happy to take suggestions for things to add to (or even remove from) this website – and would be very glad to add material supplied by others with an interest to this site.  It is intended that all facts on this website are attributed to their original source. If you spot anything that can be improved in any way please let the author know.
